What to see on vacation in Tuscany
Discover with us the beauties of the Maremma
No corner of the Maremma does not deserve to be explored far and wide, and we aren't exaggerating by saying that here with us the vacation is suitable for everyone, really. You can enjoy nature, among woods and beaches, but also visit some unforgettable places, each one leaving inside you those memories that will make your experience an unforgettable one. This is an area that has so much to offer.

The Tarot Garden
Maremma is fantastic, and therefore you won't be surprised to hear that just a few kilometers from Costa d'Argento Camping Village there is an even greater world, enclosed in a park called the Tarot Garden.
Inspired by Gaudi's world-famous Parc Güell, this one-of-a-kind park will let you dive into a true open-air museum. The creator artist of such a wonder is Niki de Saint Phalle: with her twenty-two figures covered in Murano glass, mirrored mosaics and colorful ceramics, she managed to create an out-of-the-ordinary place that would literally throw you into a dreamlike and enigmatic reality.
In a nutshell: you simply can't miss it. Mark it among your must-do things during your vacation at Costa d'Argento Camping Village.

The village of Capalbio
We are located in Capalbio, also known as the little Athens of the Maremma, which we are very proud of. Nestled among the most beautiful coastal areas of Tuscany, this charming village has been attracting people for decades now, thanks to the fairy-tale atmosphere among its narrow, medieval streets. Here, everything is in close balance between nature and tradition. Spending a summer at Costa d'Argento Camping Village means enjoying a summer filled with a vibrant mood, sipping a glass of Cabernet Sauvignon in one hand and a ticket to the Capalbio film festival in the other. We assure you there are so many peculiarities to discover, which can be easily reached in a few minutes, in an original context that only Maremma can give.

The Lake of Burano
More than the sea, villages and woods of unspoiled greenery: Maremma features also the lake among its excellences. The lush Mediterranean scrub is where Lake Burano appears, a natural paradise within an area protected by the WWF, with an enviable variety of flora and fauna. We warmly recommend you a stop here, in the Terre di Sacra reserve, also not far from Costa d'Argento Camping Village. You can even admire the very interesting neon installation “Spazio Amato” by artist Massimo Uberti, a tribute to this land in occasion of the Hypermaremma festival in its 20th edition.

Beach Oasis of Macchiatonda
A sparkling strip of golden sand stretches out from the thick, unspoiled Mediterranean scrub to the clear, blue water. Macchiatonda is among the area's non-equipped and wild beaches, as well as being the neatest and most organized, and the closest to the Costa d'Argento Camping Village. This is where our shuttle will take you during the hottest summer months. The sand grains of the Macchiatonda oasis are dark in color, in sharp contrast to the crystal-clear sea that washes it. It's up to you whether you enjoy it by bringing all the necessary beach equipment with you, or whether you prefer to take advantage of the beach establishment in Macchiatonda and reach it hands-free.
